Introducing the center
The Elderly Health Research Center is a multidisciplinary center affiliated with the Endocrine and Metabolism Research Institute of Tehran University of Medical Sciences, which has started its activities since 2011 in cooperation with the Kohrizk Charitable Nursing Home after receiving an in-principle approval from the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education. And in 2014, he managed to make a definitive agreement.
Mission
Conducting and supporting fundamental studies and macro-clinical and applied population studies in order to determine health indicators in the country's elderly based on the needs of the beneficiaries and research priorities.

At present, nearly eight percent of our country's population are elderly, and this rate will reach more than ten percent in 1400.
